Techgyan has been a strong promoter of Microsoft technologies, especially on the infrastructure front to SMB customers. They are frontrunners when it comes to evangelising technologies like Windows SBS Server to their customers with a solution centric approach focused on services and products. I have seen Suresh's committment to the Microsoft story not only for promoting his company's business, but also to benefit the partner community at large by wearing an evalengilist's hat as well. These were some of the reasons that led Microsoft to nominate Techgyan as the Partner Area Lead (PAL) for India for the Small Business Specialist Community (SBSC) program, prompting them to work hard to emerge as a finalist in the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference. Today, Techgyan is a respected SMB IT vendor in Western India and they play a lead role in promoting the IAMCP India chapter to other IT vendors on the Microsoft platform. Good luck to Suresh and Techgyan for his passion and personal commitment to the drive the SBSC, IAMCP and other Microsoft business programs for partners.

Techgyan, and its principal Suresh Ramani, are not only a valued and respected Microsoft partner, they are also leaders in the corporate social responsibility arena. In today’s market it is important to not only profit from the success of good business practices but to also return some of that good fortune to the local community. Techgyan was the first to step up and show the partner community how to do that successfully when approached by Microsoft and IAMCP last year.  Suresh has also been an extremely active supporter to and of the partner community through his leadership role in the SBSC PAL program and IAMCP as a chapter president. I have nothing but the utmost respect for Suresh and Techgyan and continue to expect more good things from this Microsoft partner in the coming years.

IAMCP India West Meeting June 2009

 

Greetings!

We just finished our June 2009 meeting of IAMCP India West Chapter  on 12th June .  The Guest Speaker for the Day was Mr. Nandan Patil, Technical Specialist , Microsoft Corporation . His topic was Windows 7. For 30 minutes he did a presentation on features of Windows 7 . After the presentation , we had 45 minutes of dazzling demonstration of Windows 7.  The demo session was absolutely FANTASTIC !  All the member Companies who came for the event were spell bound . We had Members ( Moin and Joseph from Innovative) who had come down from Surat for the event . The icing on the cake was that all members got a free copy of Windows 7 with one year validity . I’m convinced that Microsoft has a winer on hand with Windows 7 .

After the session on Windows 7, we had IAMCP introduction for new members . This was done by Mr. Chetan Shah . He did a great job of presenting IAMCP. Next was the very popular SPEED DATING , a Networking process unique to IAMCP .

Bing it

 

Greetings !

 

Last week Microsoft released their new Search Engine Engine Bing. Check it at www.bing.com . I have been trying it for a few days and I am quite impressed . The quality of search is quite good even when compared to google. One area where Bing does a better job is when search term has more than 2 words . For example I searched for “ MS Exchange Solution Providers in India “ . And guess what? My Company TechGyan was there on first page . It actually gave list of Solution Providers. Google is not very good when search term is more than 2 words.  I believe it will be good for Consumers to have 2 strong players in Search Market instead of just one.

So friends, my suggestion to you is lets Bing it !
